Using wave-packet simulations on ab-initio potential curves, we investigate the vi-brational dynamics of NaI and CsI in their first excited electronic states when aggregated with a single molecule of acetonitrile (CH 3CN).

However, oscillations in the ionization signal were observed, with a period of 500 fs ±50 fs, to be compared with the period 440 fs obtained in our simulation (see Figure (5».
